ONE PALM HILL is a renovated luxury bungalow villa located on a hilltop with sweeping Atlantic views. The property is beautifully landscaped surrounded by swaying palms, bougainvillea and lush vegetation. Perfectly located, less than a mile from the town of Governor's Harbour and a short walk or one minute drive from famous Twin Coves Beach.
Built by the island's top custom builder and decorated by its premier designer, ONE PALM HILL is sophisticated yet comfortable. Featuring 3 private large bedrooms each with their own elegant ensuite. The great room has comfortable lounge seating for 8 and features an entertainment centre with flat-screen TV. The dining area can seat up to as many as eight at the table. Four more diners can be accommodated with bar seating at the kitchen counter. The fully equipped kitchen features a cook top range and full size oven, large island with seating for four, stainless steel appliances, and modern concrete counter tops. Walk out to the pool and outdoor dining is off the kitchen. There is a laundry room and large pantry with a full sized washer and dryer just off the kitchen also. You won't ever be without power as the villa is equipped with a large generator which can be handy in the islands!
The 3 bedrooms at ONE PALM HILL each have full en-suite baths. The master bedroom is furnished with a four-poster king bed. The second guest suite is also furnished with a king bed and pool views. The third guest bedroom has twin beds that can convert to a king, as well as a day bed with a trundle (best for children or small adults). (Rates are for up to 6 guests, each guest in excess of 6 add $50/night.) All bathrooms are elegantly finished in tile and tumbled marble. In addition to three bathrooms, there is an outdoor shower for washing off sand after days at the beach!
Outside the villa there is a wrap-around porch shaded by pergolas, a beautiful pool with shallow seating along one side, lovely spot for enjoying a drink or sunning. There are comfortable chaise lounges and umbrellas. A bbq for grilling up fresh meals! Great views of the Atlantic can be seen from the porch.
ONE PALM HILL is loaded with amenities including a private pool, outdoor shower, AC throughout, high speed internet, Smart TV's, X Box, large movie library, portable speaker, books, beach chairs and umbrellas, pool floats and beach toys, snorkel gear, high chair, pack n play, gas grill, and a back up generator.
Governors Harbour the main town on the island is just two minutes away by car. Governor's Harbour has wonderful restaurants, a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbour. Buy fresh fish and lobster from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897, for the weekly coffee hour for foreign residents and tourists. Governor's Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, wine & liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, and a medical clinic. Friday night Fish Fry in Governor's Harbour a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street, is not to be missed.
Eleuthera is most famous for its 100 miles of spectacular, deserted beaches. The island, home to just 8000 residents, is completely safe any time of the day or night. Summary: Beautiful house near a beautiful beach! Great location not far from Governor’s Harbour! Pleasantly surprised by the calming view of the ocean from the living room. We walked the beach road everyday and explored other beaches. Harbour island for the day and Queen’s bath. Dancing at the fish fry! Music night at Tippy’s and the Buccaneer! The house was perfect and Misty was so helpful! Perfect weather was great too:)

Summary: One Palm Hill is an absolute gem! The house itself is very nice and welcoming. The layout is perfect with 3 bedrooms and en suite bathrooms and the kitchen is very well equipped. What makes this house standout though is all of the outside areas that can be enjoyed including the pool with 8 high end loungers, outdoor dining, and loungers in front of the house to take in the spectacular ocean view. We will stay here again!

Summary: My husband and I had an incredible stay at One Palm Hill. The property is beautiful, very private, and well appointed. We cooked dinner each night at the home and the kitchen had everything possible that we needed. One Palm Hill is perfectly located on the island, minutes from Governors Harbor, but in a quiet and private neighborhood. It felt like a home away from home and we would highly recommend to anyone! Booking was easy and communication with property manager and Misty, who met us on the first day, was flawless. Hope to come back again in the future!!

Short car ride away from the Governors Harbour airport, grocery, gas and restaurants. This is our favorite area of Eleuthera as it’s very convenient. The house is very pretty and has plenty of linens, cooking utensils and basics such as shampoo, conditioner, laundry and dish soap. Having 3 bathrooms made it so convenient and comfortable. Beds and pillows are comfortable. The landscape and pool area are very nice as is the view. A few things we wished would have been better are the dusty curtains. Upon entering we were all sneezing and took allergy meds. The two bedrooms facing the driveway were specially dusty as the curtains are thin. The rental provides 5 gallon filtered water that you can easily replenish at the local stores and also coffee and a drawer full of spices. Bring your sugar for coffee. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property, hopefully the curtains get cleaned more often.

Summary: We recently stayed at One Palm Hill for a family vacation with our teenage daughters and their friends. To say the house was the perfect fit for 6 people is an understatement. The check-in process was ultra smooth, and imagine our surprise to find the house very well stocked with everything from towels to snorkel gear and pool floats. Even the kitchen had every sort of plate, pot, gadget, etc that we could ever use. And the house was very, very clean. The location was also perfect for us to explore the entire island. We visited so many of the beaches in both the north and south parts of the island. However, our favorite beach was the one you can walk to from the house - Twin Bay Beach. The house has plenty of chairs, coolers, and umbrellas for you to load in your car to take a picnic with you. When you return in the afternoons, the pool is a perfect place to finish up the day. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at One Palm Hill and plan on returning. Overall, it was probably the best VRBO we have ever stayed in.
